this is the finished example combined material soo in december i thought hmmm why not do it huge soooo i ended up with this!!!...
i really like this especially the scale!!! i did a lino print just to be able to contrast a lino with a woodblock....lino is way easier to cut!!! i printed the image on to coloured tissue paper type stuff and it turned out very well!!!
i covered 2 sheets of paper with news paper articles and decided to print on it!!!
this is a pratice print!!!
on the newspaper lino print i accidently spilled tea on it and im actually glad i did it turn out very funky!!!
this is a close up of some of the wood block prints i did!!
i found this welder machine ( thats what my dad said it was) in the scrap yard and loved the copper wire on it so i thought hmmmm why not do a 3d with it soo i unwrapped the wire it took sooo long....
i twisted 2 pieces of wire together it make it stronger using a fork and the door handle it was great fun!!! and i started bending and twisting together the wire.... this is the top of the claw it took quiet a few hours and its huge even bigger as i have the claws attached on it now but forgot to take a pic of it before i put it in the car today sooo you shall all see it tomoro when i have my assement!!! thats all buy for now!

what ive ben up to since november!!!!
ok i have being doing a load of experimenting the last few months and a lot of printing!!!! and im still enjoying doing my project on the claw!!!!
firstly i did a small example of the claw in combined material...
using anything i could find eg: plaster cast, twine, brown paper etc...
and i also painted it see finished piece in my portfoilo!!
i then started a wood block print and my blood went into this literally i cut my hand a couple of times when the cuttin tool slipped ouch!! it was very hard to do!!! but i finally got it done
and you can see a couple of my prints in this picture hanging in my work space
more work space i love this place!!!!
